What I’d do differently
I’d pull a reference photo for the pottery before shaping anything. I took the cookie that looked most like a cookie and called it artisanal. It looked like a dumpling, and that became the running joke of the project.
Outcome
Day-30 retention: 100%. He opens it out of love, or fear.
